They call me the tough one, but the truth is that life has made me this way. I’ve been through difficult experiences that led me to the shelter, and because of that, I need time to trust people again.

I can seem distant at first, as I’m still learning that humans can be kind and safe. I take things slowly, at my own pace, observing and trying to understand the world around me.

What I really need is a patient and loving person who will give me time, space, and understanding. Once I feel safe, I know I can open up and show my softer side. All I’m asking for is a chance to believe again
